Come funziona
poco costosa!
How my
antenna system works?
Since my antenna system was developed for satellite traffic, at that
time a "mast" that allows me rapid changes was needed!
Really, during the antennas "testing" for traffic via satellite, the
greater part of the time is spent for the calibration of the relative
accessories (preamplifiers, splitter, etc), while, normally the parts
that reside in "shak", need only a "fine" tuning!
With this consideration in mind,
I addressed myself to select a telescopic mast, but enslaved by a
small whinch, because the antennas and the two rototors weight (azimut
and elevation rotators), carries to an effort that would be also dangerous
(... the fundamental condition to enjoy radio is to stay alive after
the installation!).
In this photo you see, a possible "home made" solution designed by
I1VTQ, Peppino, just for me; it is robust
enough but very inexpensive!
)
e l'altra per i 23 e diventerà
la base per ulteriori sviluppi.
This installation was made on 2010. It is a simple
rotator cage (home made not by me!) that will become the first step
for futher improvments. In the picture you see only two helices for
70 (as per article avalable HERE
)
and 23 cm bands
